Invited by the Town of Oakville once again to participate in Family Day Events for young and old, our Society held four workshops for children and accompanying adults in floral arranging.\u00a0 At the end of each session each participant had a lovely arrangement of their creation to take home and enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Taking place at the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, over 150 people participated in this year\u2019s event. Children and adults alike made arrangements under the guidance of the many OHS volunteers on hand. We are very grateful to all those who work so hard to make this such a joyous and anticipated yearly event now. It is wonderful\u00a0to share our passion with our community. Hopefully, we will inspire many others to appreciate the simplicity and beauty of flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A special thank you is in order for the local merchants (listed below) who provided the blossoms galore for the floral arrangers of all ages.
