Brief Bio.

Cathy Kavassalis combines her love for gardening with a strong commitment to conservation. As a scientist, educator, and founder of the Canadian Coalition for Invasive Plant Regulation (CCIPR), she’s deeply involved in environmental advocacy. Cathy moderates the Master Gardeners of Ontario’s Facebook forum, is an active Halton Region Master Gardener, and a former President of the Oakville Horticultural Society. She is dedicated to inspiring positive ecological change through community outreach and preserving Canada’s natural spaces for future generations.
